प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आरोप लगाया है कि दूसरो की निंदा करना और हंसी उडाना कांग्रेस की पुरानी संस्कृति है। भारत के प्रधान न्यायाधीश डीवाई चन्द्रचूड को लिखे वकीलों के एक समूह के पत्र का हवाला देते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने एक सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट में यह बात कही। वकीलों ने अपने पत्र में न्यायपालिका की निष्पक्षता को धूमिल करने की कोशिशों पर चिंता व्यक्त की थी। श्री मोदी ने कहा कि पांच दशक पहले कांग्रेस ने एक प्रतिबद्ध न्यायपालिका की मांग की थी। उन्होंने दावा किया कि कांग्रेस औरों से प्रतिबद्धता की मांग करती है लेकिन राष्ट्र के प्रति किसी भी प्रतिबद्धता से दूर रहती है।

The Centre has extended the Armed Forces (SpecialPowers) Act (AFSPA) in eight districts of Nagaland and three districts of Arunachal Pradesh for six months with effect from 1st of next month. It has also been extended to 21 police stations in five other districts of Nagaland and three police stations in another district of Arunachal Pradesh. The AFSPA has been in force in certain districts and police station areas in Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh for many years now and it is extended periodically. In a notification, the Union Home Ministry said that a further review of the law and order situation in the states of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh has been undertaken. Therefore, Dimapur,Niuland, Chumoukedima, Mon, Kiphire, Noklak, Phek and Peren districts in Nagaland and the areas falling within the jurisdiction of six police stations each in Mokokchung and Zunheboto districts, four in Kohima, three in Wokha and one in Longleng are declared as disturbed areas for six months from Monday.
Whereas in Arunachal Pradesh, Tirap, Changlang and Longding districts and the areas falling within the jurisdiction of Namsai, Mahadevpur and Chowkham police stations in Namsai district of the state bordering Assam are declared as disturbed areas.

अरूणाचल प्रदेश में 60 सदस्यों की विधानसभा और लोकसभा की दो सीटों के लिए भरे गए नामांकन पत्रों की कल जॉच की गई। कुल मिलाकर विधानसभा की 58 सीटों के लिए 168 नामांकन पत्र वैध पाए गए और दो विधानसभा सीटों के नामांकन पत्रों की जॉच आज सुबह 11 बजे तक स्थगित कर दी गई है। लोकसभा के दो क्षेत्रों के लिए 15 उम्मीदवारों के नामांकन वैध पाए गए। अरूणालच पश्चिम लोक सभा सीट के लिए 8 उम्मीदवारों ने नामांकन पत्र जमा कराए गए जिनमें भारतीय जनता पार्टी के उम्मीदवार और केंद्रीय मंत्री किरण रिजीजू तथा कांग्रेस के उम्मीदवार नबाम तुकी शामिल हैं। अरूणाचल पूर्वी लोकसभा क्षेत्र के लिए सात उम्मीदवारों के नामांकन पत्र वैध पाए गए। अरूणाचल प्रदेश में 19 अप्रैल को 60 सदस्यों की विधानसभा और अरूणाचल पश्चिम और अरूणाचल पूर्व लोकसभा सीट के लिए भी एक साथ मतदान कराया जाएगा।
Jailed gangster-turned-politician, Mukhtar Ansari died due to cardiac arrest at the Banda Medical College Hospital in Uttar Pradesh last night. He was admitted to the hospital earlier in the day after his condition allegedly deteriorated after he fainted inside the district jail where he was lodged.
UP DG Police, Prashant Kumar has said, prohibitory orders under CrPC Section 144 have been imposed across the state following Ansari’s death. As a precautionary measure, security has been tightened in Firozabad, Ghazipur, Mau, Varanasi and other districts of the eastern UP region. Police conducted flag march in Firozabad. Last week Mukhtar’s lawyer had moved an application before a court in Barabanki seeking proper medical examination, alleging that ‘slow poisoning’ was being administered to him by Banda prison staff.
The five-time MLA from Mau was involved in the property business and was also involved in more than 60 criminal cases in UP and in many other places. He was in custody since 2005. Mukhtar contested elections twice as BSP candidate.

The post graduates from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru have been offered lucrative job openings in reputed companies after their course completion. In a statement issued by the Management institute today, 516 such post graduates were offered employment by 163 companies. The Institute had organised Placement week in February. A record 29 students of IIMB were placed abroad with Infosys Consulting, JP Morgan Chase, London, Fast Retailing, Japan among others. The remaining 487 post graduates have landed jobs in India.

Naveen Kumar Reddy of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), M Jeevan Reddy representing the Congress, and independent candidate Sudershan Goud competed for the seat.
State Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and a minister J. Krishna Rao also exercised their voting right in the by-election. As ex-officio members in their capacity as the MLAs, the Chief Minister and a minister cast their vote in his home constituencies.

मानसून से पहले, बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम (बीएमसी) ने अप्रैल 2024 और मार्च 2025 के बीच मुंबई के सभी बड़े और छोटे नालों, दो एक्सप्रेसवे से सटे नालों और मीठी नदी से गाद निकालने के लिए 249 करोड़ रुपये की कुल लागत पर 31 अलग-अलग एजेंसियों को नियुक्त किया है। डी-सिल्टिंग की प्रक्रिया से तात्पर्य गाद, गंदगी और तलछट को हटाने से है जो शहर में नालों, नहरों और नदियों के तल पर जमा हो जाती है। ये तलछट जल निकायों के माध्यम से बहने वाले पानी की गति को धीमा कर देते हैं जिसके परिणामस्वरूप भारी बारिश के दौरान पानी का अतिप्रवाह होता है जिससे शहर में जल-जमाव हो जाता है। अप्रैल के पहले सप्ताह तक गाद निकालने का काम शुरू कर दिया जाएगा ताकि हम मई के अंत तक प्री-मानसून लक्ष्य हासिल कर सकें।

सियारामशरण गुप्त (अंग्रेज़ी: Siyaram Sharan Gupt, जन्म: 4 सितंबर, 1895; मृत्यु: 29 मार्च, 1963) हिन्दी के प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार और राष्ट्रकवि मैथिलीशरण गुप्त के छोटे भाई थे। उन पर गाँधीवाद का विशेष प्रभाव रहा है। इसलिये उनकी रचनाओं में करुणा, सत्य-अहिंसा की मार्मिक अभिव्यक्ति मिलती है। हिन्दी साहित्य में उन्हें एक कवि के रुप में विशेष ख्याति प्राप्त हुई लेकिन एक मूर्धन्य कथाकार के रूप में भी उन्होंने कथा साहित्य में भी अपना स्थान बनाया। सियारामशरण गुप्त जी द्वारा लिखी गयी मुख्य रचनाओं में शामिल हैं खण्डकाव्य- अनाथ, आर्द्रा, विषाद, दूर्वा दल, बापू; काव्यग्रन्थ- दैनिकी नकुल, जय हिन्द, पाथेय, मृण्मयी तथा आत्मोसर्ग; उपन्यास- अन्तिम आकांक्षा तथा नारी और गोद।

Major James Rennell, FRS, FRSE, FRGS (3 December 1742 – 29 March 1830) was an English geographer, historian and a pioneer of oceanography. Rennell produced some of the first accurate maps of Bengal at one inch to five miles as well as accurate outlines of India and served as Surveyor General of Bengal. Rennell has been called the Father of Oceanography. In 1830, he was one of the founders of the Royal Geographical Society in London.

श्याम सुंदर कलानी (जन्म- 1940, जबलपुर, मध्य प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 29 मार्च, 2020, पंचकुला, हरियाणा) छोटे पर्दे (टी.वी.) के अभिनेता थे। दूरदर्शन के प्रसिद्ध धारावाहिक ‘रामायण’ में उन्होंने सुग्रीव की भूमिका निभाई थी। इस एक भूमिका ने ही उन्हें पूरे भारत में पहचान दिला दी थी। अभिनय के क्षेत्र में उन्हें पहला अवसर रामानंद सागर की ‘रामायण’ से ही मिला था। धारावाहिक ‘रामायण’ में श्याम सुंदर कलानी के द्वारा निभाये गए सुग्रीव के रोल को काफ़ी सराहा गया। सुग्रीव के रोल में वह घर-घर पहचाने जाने लगे थे। ‘रामायण’ में राम की भूमिका अरुण गोविल, लक्ष्मण की भूमिका सुनील लहरी और सीता की भूमिका दीपिका चिखालिया ने निभाई थी जबकि हनुमान की भूमिका प्रसिद्ध भारतीय पहलवान रहे दारा सिंह ने निभाई।

वैसे जगदीप ने अपने फिल्मी करियर की शुरुआत बीआर चोपड़ा की फिल्म अफसाना, ग्रिशा पेट्रोचेनकोव में एक बाल कलाकार के रूप में की, फिर उन्होंने अब दिल्ली दूर नहीं, केए अब्बास की मुन्ना, गुरु दत्त की आर-पार जैसी फिल्मों में बाल कलाकार के रूप में काम किया। बिमल रॉय की दो बीघा जमीन और एवीएम की हम पंछी एक डाल के। उन्हें एवीएम द्वारा भाभी, बरखा और बिंदिया फिल्मों में एक प्रमुख व्यक्ति के रूप में लॉन्च किया गया था। फिल्म ब्रह्मचारी के बाद से उन्होंने खुद को एक हास्य अभिनेता के रूप में स्थापित कर लिया। उन पर कुछ हिट गाने फिल्माए गए हैं
