NDA leaders yesterday unanimously elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their leader. During the meeting of NDA leaders in New Delhi, a resolution was passed mentioning that India has witnessed all round development in every field in the last ten years during the NDA government under the leadership of Mr. Modi. The resolution also states that the people of the country have elected a strong leadership with an absolute majority for the third consecutive time after six decades.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, this is a historic mandate for the third consecutive government.
During the meeting, it was unanimously decided that NDA government will continue to work towards all round development of the country. NDA parters said that Mr.Modi has a clear vision for Viksit Bharat. The leaders also lauded Prime Minister’s role in enhancing India’s pride in the world. They also lauded his effort towards poverty eradication.

In an effort to facilitate trade, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has started electronically disburse duty drawback amount directly to exporter’s bank account with effect from yesterday. In a release, the Ministry of Finance said that the payment of duty drawback amounts into the exporters’ accounts will be facilitated through the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) automatically. This new functionality is expected to reduce time taken for payment of drawback amount by eliminating manual intervention in the drawback disbursal mechanism and increase transparency.

Indian-Origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, along with Butch Wilmore, have become the first to fly to space aboard the Boeing Starliner’s in the first-ever crewed mission. The 59-year-old Williams created history by becoming the first woman to fly on the maiden mission of a new human-rated spacecraft. The crew was launched yesterday to fly aboard the United Launch Alliance’s Atlas V rocket from the Space Launch Complex-41 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The flight comes after several delays over the years.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने कथित शराब नीति घोटाले में मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को अंतरिम जमानत देने से इंकार कर दिया है। राउज एवन्यू अदालत की विशेष न्यायाधीश कावेरी बावेजा ने उन्हें चिकित्सीय जांच के आधार पर सात दिन की अंतरिम जमानत की मांग वाली याचिका खारिज कर दी है। अदालत ने तिहाड जेल के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे न्यायिक हिरासत के दौरान श्री केजरीवाल की चिकित्सा आवश्यकताओं का पूरा ध्यान रखे। उनकी नियमित जमानत याचिका पर शुक्रवार को सुनवाई होनी है।

In ICC T20 World Cup, India beat Ireland by 8 wickets in their group-stage clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York last night.
Put into bat first, Ireland were bundled out on a meagre score of 96 runs in 16 overs as Indian bowlers Hardik Pandya picked up three wickets while Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh took two wicket each.
In reply, India easily overhauled the target lossing 2 wicket in just 12.2 overs riding on Captain Rohit Sharma’s 52 and Rishabh Pant’s 36 runs.
In the next group-stage match, India will first take on Pakistan on 9th of this month and then will face on co-hosts USA on 12th of June.

IRCTC and Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board will operate a Kedar-Badri Dham Yatra Bharat Gaurav Tourist train from Madurai via Chennai Egmore. The train that will leave Madurai on June 20 will reach Chennai on 21st June. The 12 nights and 13 trip would cover Rishikesh – Rudraprayag, Guptkashi, Kedarnath, Joshimath, Badrinath and the Kartik Swami temple dedicated to Lord Kartikeya in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The tour is also inclusive of helicopter tickets – Kedarnath – Guptkashi route. The train will have 300 AC III tier seats.

ISRO Chairman S Somnath inaugurated today the new Propellant tank production and CNC machining facilities in HAL, Bengaluru campus. This facility will cater to the manufacturing of high performance fuel and oxidiser tanks and other critical components for Launch Vehicle Mark III, which is ISRO’s heavy lift rocket that will also be used for Gaganyaan mission. The new facility will augment propellant tank production and ease pressure on ISRO which is focusing right now on human spaceflight mission Gaganyaan.

HYDERABAD METRO
In Telangana, the state government is likely to hold the promised Caste Census in the state next month. The Telangana State Commission for Backward Classes will submit a report to the government by this month-end on the modalities to be adopted for the door-to-door exercise. Notably, during the Assembly election campaign in the state last year, the Congress had promised to undertake this exercise if it was voted to power. A month after the Congress won power, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that his government will soon hold the Caste Census. The Chief Minister asked the state BC Commission to draft the modalities and questionnaire for this purpose and ensure that the process does not run into legal hurdles. He asked the commission to study the methods adopted by states like Bihar and Karnataka for their caste census exercises.

दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने क्यूएस वर्ल्ड यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग-2025 में भारत के केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों की श्रेणी में पहला स्थान और देश भर के अन्य संस्थानों की सूची में 7वां स्थान पर प्राप्त किया है। वहीं, आईआईटी दिल्ली ने विश्व के शीर्ष विश्वविद्यालयों की श्रेणी में 47 अंकों का सुधार करते हुए, 150वां स्थान हासिल किया है, जो पिछले वर्ष 197वें स्थान पर था। दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रोफेसर योगेश सिंह ने बताया कि भारत के शीर्ष 10 संस्थानों में दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने 79 रैंक ऊपर, सबसे अधिक प्रगति की है। इस उपलब्धि के लिए कुलपति ने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सभी विभागों को बधाई दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय के संकाय सदस्यों और विद्यार्थियों के अकादमिक प्रदर्शन से डीयू निरंतर आगे बढ़ रहा है। दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने क्यूएस वर्ल्ड यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग-2025 में वैश्विक स्तर पर 328वां स्थान प्राप्त किया है जो पिछले वर्ष 407वें स्थान पर था।

आगामी मानसून की प्रत्याशा में, बृहन्मुंबई नगर निगम (बीएमसी) ने मुंबई क्षेत्र में खतरनाक और जीर्ण इमारतों की पहचान और सूची बनाने का निर्देश दिया है। बीएमसी ने निर्देश दिया है कि इन इमारतों को स्थापित प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार खाली किया जाए और निवासियों को उचित तरीके से स्थानांतरित किया जाए। बीएमसी अधिकारियों ने सभी सहायक आयुक्तों को अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में मानसून पूर्व कार्यों का नियमित निरीक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, बीएमसी ने यह सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया है कि वर्षा जल की तेजी से निकासी के लिए सभी आवश्यक उपाय किए जाएं। जिन स्थानों पर भूस्खलन की संभावना है, वहां निर्धारित प्रक्रियाओं का पालन करते हुए तत्काल कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। निगम ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि यदि मानसून के दौरान कोई पेड़ गिरता है, तो मानक प्रक्रिया के अनुसार तत्काल कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। बीएमसी ने संबंधित एजेंसियों को भूस्खलन की आशंका वाले क्षेत्रों में सुरक्षा दीवारें बनाने का आदेश दिया है।

1903- A full length theatre played like ‘Bankimchandrer Sitararn’, ‘Alibaba’ , ‘Bhramar’, ‘Hariraj’ , ‘Sarla’ and ‘Buddhadeb’ were released at Classic Theatre. These plays were picturised by Hiralal Sen with support of great dramatist Amar Nath Dutt. The main roles were performed by Amar Dutt, N.C. Basu and Kusum Kumari and rest of the characters belonged to the Classic Theatre of Calcutta. They received a great applause from the audience.

तो पुण्यतिथियों में आज सबसे पहला नाम है रामचंद्र दत्तात्रेय रानाडे का जो संस्कृत के विद्वान एवं दर्शनशास्त्री थे। आपका (अंग्रेज़ी: Ramachandra Dattatrya Ranade,जन्म- 3 जुलाई, 1886, बगलकोट ज़िला (कर्नाटक;)मृत्यु- 6 जून, 1957) वे इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय में दर्शन विभाग के अध्यक्ष और प्रोफेसर के पद पर रहे। इसके बाद इसी विश्वविद्यालय के वाइस चांसलर भी बने। रानाडे की अध्यात्मिक विषयों पर शोध करना और उनके प्रचार-प्रसार करने में रुचि थी। आपने सांगली में ‘अध्यात्म विद्या मंदिर’ की स्थापना की थी। अंग्रेजी और मराठी में 1922 और 1927 के बीच आपने भारतीय दर्शन और अध्यात्म पर 13 मानक ग्रंथों की रचना की। आपने ‘अध्यात्म विद्यापीठ’ नामक संस्था की स्थापना की। इसका उद्देश्य 16 खंडों में भारतीय दर्शन का इतिहास प्रकाशित करना था। इस क्रम में कुछ खंड प्रकाशित हो चुके थे। रामचंद्र दत्तात्रेय रानाडे के मराठी में जो ग्रंथ लिखे वे हैं -ज्ञानेश्वर नामृत,संतवचनामृत,तुकाराम वचनामृत,रामदासवचनामृत और एकनाथ वचनामृत!

कैप्टन अवधेश प्रताप सिंह (जन्म-1888, सतना, मध्य प्रदेश; मृत्यु- 6 जून, 1967) विंध्य प्रदेश और महाकौशल के प्रमुख राजनैतिक और सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्ता थे। वे 1946-1950 में देश की संविधान सभा के भी सदस्य रहे। उन्होंने अपने सीमित समय के मुख्यमंत्री काल में शिक्षा के प्रसार के लिए काम किया। कैप्टन अवधेश प्रताप सिंह स्वतंत्रता के बाद कुछ समय के लिए विंध्य प्रदेश अलग राज्य बना तो उसके प्रथम मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अवधेश सिंह ही निर्वाचित हुए।अवधेश प्रताप सिंह 1921 से 1942 तक के आंदोलनों में लगभग चार वर्ष जेलों में बंद रहे। उन्होंने देशी रियासतों में जनतंत्र की स्थापना और समाज उत्थान के लिए निरंतर काम किया। अपने पिता के विरोध की उपेक्षा करके उन्होंने 1920 में अपने परिवार के दो मंदिर हरिजनों के लिए खुलवा दिए थे।

बासु चटर्जी (अंग्रेज़ी: Basu Chatterjee, जन्म- 10 जनवरी, 1927; मृत्यु- 6 जून, 2020) हिंदी और बंगाली सिनेमा के जाने-माने पटकथा लेखक और निर्देशक थे। उन्होंने अपने फिल्मी कॅरियर की शुरुआत बासु भट्टाचार्य का सहायक बनकर की। बासु भट्टाचार्य और ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी की फिल्मों की तरह बासु चटर्जी की फिल्में भी हल्के मूड वाली मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार की कहानियां होती थीं। वह अपनी फिल्मों में शादी और प्रेम संबंधों पर ज्यादा जोर देते थे। इसके अलावा उनकी फिल्में सामाजिक और नैतिक मुद्दों पर भी बातचीत करती थीं। बासु चटर्जी की मुख्य फिल्मों में शामिल हैं – ‘पिया का घर’, ‘चितचोर’, ‘स्वामी’, ‘खट्टा मीठा’, ‘प्रियतमा’, ‘चक्रव्यूह’, ‘बातों बातों में’ और ‘सफेद झूठ’ आदि। तो मेडली तो इनकी फिल्मों की बनती है सरबजीत, है ना
