The Border Security Force has seized an abandoned Pakistani boat along the Kutch border. The recovery was made during routine patrolling in the sensitive Creek and Harami Nala areas of the international border in Kutch district.
During preliminary inspection, fishing equipment and nets were recovered from the boat, though no explosive material was found. Security agencies are further investigating the matter.
Notably, suspicious activities have increased along the Kutch coast in recent days. Earlier, ten packets of charas were recovered from the Sugar Bet area near Lakhpat, taking the total number of narcotics packets seized over the last four days to 47.
In another development, the wreckage of a large drone was recovered from the coast near Sindhodi village, prompting security agencies to remain on high alert. Following these incidents, coastal security has been intensified from Mandvi to Laki Nala, and round-the-clock search operations are underway across the border region.<
