प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 15वें भारत-जापान वार्षिक शिखर सम्मेलन में भाग लेने के लिए आज शाम जापान की यात्रा पर रवाना होंगे। यह प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की आठवीं जापान यात्रा होगी। जापान के प्रधानमंत्री शिगेरु इशिबा के साथ यह उनकी पहली शिखर बैठक होगी। विदेश मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा कि इस यात्रा के दौरान दोनों प्रधानमंत्री, दोनों देशों के बीच विशेष रणनीतिक और वैश्विक साझेदारी की समीक्षा करेंगे। इसमें रक्षा और सुरक्षा, व्यापार तथा अर्थव्यवस्था, प्रौद्योगिकी और नवाचार तथा आपसी सहयोग शामिल है। वे क्षेत्रीय और वैश्विक महत्व के मुद्दों पर भी चर्चा करेंगे। यह यात्रा दोनों देशों के बीच लंबे समय से चले आ रहे आपसी संबंधों को और मजबूती देगी।
जापान में भारत के राजदूत सिबी जॉर्ज ने कहा कि विशेष रणनीति और वैश्विक साझेदारी बेहद महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने कहा कि दोनों देशों के संबंध द्विपक्षीय के साथ ही बहुपक्षीय भी है।
जापान में भारत के राजदूत ने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला की भारत अमृतकाल की यात्रा के मध्य में है और यह यात्रा भारत को एक विकसित देश बनाने की है जिसमें विश्वस्तरीय बुनियादी ढांचा होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जापान बुनियादी ढांचा योजनाओं पर भारत के साथ काम कर रहा है।
भारत की अमृतकाल यात्रा में जापान एक प्रमुख विश्वनीय भागीदार बना रहेगा। तोक्यो से ओम अवस्थी की रिपोर्ट के साथ समाचार कक्ष से वैष्णवी।

Indian Air Force has launched extensive relief and rescue missions in response to the rising water levels and devastating floods caused in Jammu region and northern Punjab. The Defence Ministry in a statement said, Indian Air Force has deployed Helicopter Fleet, Transport Aircraft and other IAF assets for the support of the affected. It also pointed out about the Rescue Missions done in Akhnoor Area of Jammu, Pathankot and Dera Baba Nanak area of Punjab to rescue and safeguard the life of armed personnels. The Ministry said, the IAF stands ready to undertake further missions as the situation evolves.
Meanwhile, Northern Railway has cancelled 45 trains and short terminated 25 trains due to heavy rains in Jammu region. Chief Public Relations Officer of Northern Railway, Himanshu Shekhar informed about the decision while talking to media in New Delhi.

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) carried out large-scale rescue and evacuation operations in Kangra and Chamba districts of Himachal Pradesh. It rescued over 3,700 people for the last two days amid adverse weather conditions.
In Kangra district, the Beas River surged on the intervening night of August 26 and 27 and overran the premises of Arni University, Indora. The team swiftly evacuated 427 persons, including 412 students and 15 staff members. Yesterday, another 26 persons were safely shifted from the university.
The team rescued 15 people amid heavy flooding in the Mand and Sanor areas of Indora subdivision.
In Chamba district, an NDRF team deployed for the ongoing Shri Manimahesh Ji Yatra launched a major evacuation effort on August 27. The team, along with HP Police and civil officials, set up a temporary footbridge to facilitate pilgrims in Dhancho near Gauri Kund. It evacuated 3,269 pilgrims to Dunali.

A high-level delegation of 26 representatives from six Japanese companies visited Anna University, encouraging students to learn Japanese language and culture to launch global careers. Engineering students from the College of Engineering Guindy and Madras Institute of Technology were urged to apply for internships in Japan to experience its work culture and lifestyle. The Founder-CEO of Talendy-By Tech Japan announced that Japan aims to hire 50,000 Indian students over the next five years. दिल्ली राज्य विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के सहयोग से 13 सितंबर को राष्ट्रीय लोक अदालत का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस दौरान दिल्ली की सभी जिला अदालतों और उच्च न्यायलय में लोक अदालत आयोजित की जायेगी। इसमें 31 मई तक किये गए ट्रैफिक चालानों का निपटारा किया जाएगा। जिसमें नागरिकों को ट्रैफिक चालान को निपटाने के लिए चालान की कॉपी, वाहन का रजिस्ट्रेशन सर्टिफिकेट, वाहन चालक का ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, पहचान पत्र, समन या नोटिस की कॉपी और चालान भुगतान की पुरानी रसीद जैसे जरूरी दस्तावेज लाना अनिवार्य है।

Ganesh Chaturthi festival was celebrated with fervour as devotees thronged temples and community pandals across Bengaluru. Long queues were seen outside prominent Ganesha temples where people offered prayers to Lord Ganesh, offered flowers and coconuts. The Ganesha pandals organised cultural programmes and played devotional songs. Many devotees preferred eco friendly, colourless clay idols of Ganesha instead of Plaster of Paris idols coated with chemical paints harmful to the environment and water bodies. The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has made elaborate arrangements for the immersion of the Ganesha idols. It has arranged water tanks beside 41 lakes for the devotees to immerse their idols. To ensure safety at the lake side tanks, proper barricades are installed, trained swimmers and lifeguards are deputed along with CCTV, proper lighting and shelters. These facilities will be provided till September 07.

In Telangana, extremely heavy rain battered Kamareddy, Medak, Nirmal districts while many other areas across the state received heavy rainfall. Several villages have been inundated while towns and cities witnessed flooding as streams and lakes are overflowing. Medak, Kamareddy and Nirmal have been the worst hit with Argonda in Kamareddy district recording the highest rainfall of 43.1 cms till this morning at 5AM.
The National and State Disaster Relief Teams have rescued over 1000 persons in Kamareddy districts when they struck in flood water.
The state Government has appointed special officers to the worst hit districts to take necessary relief activities at the ground level. Meanwhile, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will be conducting an aerial survey of the rain hit areas later today. Meanwhile, Met officials warned of heavy and very heavy rains likely at some places today and tomorrow under the influence of the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal.

सरकार ने रेस्तरां और होटलों की रूफटॉप गतिविधियों को केवल 50 प्रतिशत क्षेत्र में ही अनुमति देने का निर्णय लिया है। आवश्यक अनुमति और संबंधित कार्य अग्निशमन और आपातकालीन सेवा विभाग से लिए जा सकते हैं। रूफटॉप रेस्तरां की सीढ़ियां अवरुद्ध नहीं होनी चाहिए।
