BJP Telangana releases comprehensive ‘Charge Sheet’ titled ‘Fake Guarantees – Deceptive Promises,’ on state govt’s 2 year tenure

In Telangana, ahead of the upcoming municipal and corporation elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state unit released a comprehensive “Charge Sheet” titled ‘Fake Guarantees – Deceptive Promises,’ targeting the Congress government’s two-year tenure. The document was unveiled by BJP State President N. Ramchander Rao and Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar, the party’s election in-charge for the state, alongside senior leaders, including MP Eatala Rajender.

The BJP accused the ruling dispensation of failing to honour its ‘Six Guarantees’ and over 420 election promises, claiming the state is currently gripped by a financial crisis that has delayed salaries for government employees and university professors. The Charge Sheet highlights the plight of farmers, alleging that the Rythu Bharosa and loan waiver schemes remain unimplemented while the New Land Act has only increased disputes. Furthermore, the party criticised the government for neglecting the education, employment and health sectors. Mr Rao also raised concerns over deteriorating law and order and urban issues.
