BJP today said that Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi still stand accused in the alleged National Herald money laundering case despite a temporary relief in the matter. A trial court in Delhi earlier refused to take cognisance of the Enforcement Directorate’s complaint in the National Herald case.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that the court still has not given a clean chit to the Congress leaders who are still out on bail. He alleged that with mounting evidence in the case, prosecution is inevitable in the future.
Mr Bhatia also called out the party for celebrating the decision while also repeatedly accusing the judiciary of being compromised. He alleged that when the verdict falls in their favour, Congress suddenly finds the judiciary acceptable.
