BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda today laid the foundation stone of the party’s new state office at Majthai, near Shimla. Upon his arrival at the foundation stone laying site, party workers accorded him a grand welcome. Mr Nadda participated in the traditional foundation stone laying ceremony, which lasted for about 45 minutes, and thereafter unveiled the foundation stone plaque. The programme was conducted with Vedic chanting by five priests.
During the site inspection, BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal presented a detailed overview of the proposed building plan to the National President. On this occasion, Mr Nadda also offered guidance regarding the structure of the office, its functional requirements, and its future utility.
Present on the occasion were State In-charge Shrikant Sharma, Co-incharge Sanjay Tandon, BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sikander Kumar, Organisation General Secretary Siddharthan, along with State Vice Presidents Bihari Lal Sharma, Satpal Satti, Suresh Kashyap, Rajeev Bhardwaj, and a large number of party workers.
