Former Union Minister Smriti Irani and BJP leader said that even before the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had travelled across the country and after the elections, he had to sit in the opposition. While referring to Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi’s Haryana Vijay Sankalp Yatra, She said, now the same thing will happen in Haryana too.

Speaking to journalists in Rohtak today, she termed the Congress party as an anti-scheduled caste party.

Smriti Irani said that the maximum number of amendments have been made in the Constitution during the Congress rule. The former Union Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Haryana got special benefits from Ujjwala Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Yojana. She described the current government of the state as farmer-friendly and said that during the last 10 years, Rs 12 thousand 500 crore was given to the farmers of Haryana as compensation.
