The BJP today hit out at the TMC after the Supreme Court rejected its plea challenging the Election Commission’s appointment of Central employees in West Bengal elections’ counting process.
Addressing media in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi has termed the Apex Court’s decision as constitutionally appropriate as it declined to interfere with the Election Commission’s decision in this regard.
Dr Trivedi said, this decision also raises serious question about the TMC intentions from a political and moral perspective. He said, TMC has approached various levels of the judiciary many times and has repeatedly faced setbacks. He also alleged that TMC has no faith in the constitutional system.
