BJP today accused Leader of Opposition and Senior Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi of insulting the Sikh Community. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP Leader and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, Mr Gandhi has used derogatory remarks against BJP MP Sardar Ravneet Singh Bittu at the premises of Parliament House today. He said that the use of such a word against Mr Bittu without any basis is an insult to the entire Sikh community. Mr Puri claimed that the word used by Cthe ongress Leader refers to someone who betrays the nation.
Mr Puri added that the founding principles of Sikhism are firmly anchored in humanity, compassion, and the protection of human values which continue to inspire the nation.
