BJP today hit out at Trinamool Congress over its objections to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in West Bengal, accusing the party of trying to protect illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators. Talking to a news agency, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain alleged that the TMC delegation went to meet the Election Commission yesterday with an agenda to make baseless remarks that it is not working fairly. Mr Hussain accused TMC of trying to shield Bangladeshi infiltrators.
