BJP today accused Congress party of spreading misinformation to demean the country’s image globally. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that since 2014, the Congress Party, its social media team, and well-known faces from the Left parties have been spreading a false narrative against the country and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He further claimed that they were operating their accounts from abroad. He alleged that the opposition parties used foreign social media handles to fabricate a false narrative about Special Intensive Revision-SIR.
