Bihar : State Gov Approved New Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package

In Bihar, the state government has approved the new Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package (BIPPP-2025) to promote industries in the state. Under this scheme, industrialists and investors setting up new enterprises will be provided with attractive land-related concessions, loan subsidies, and several other incentives. The package was approved today in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Under this package, entrepreneurs will be provided with an interest subvention of up to 40 crore rupees. A capital subsidy of up to 30 per cent will be provided for setting up industries.

 

Additionally, assistance will be provided by the government for skill development, environmental protection, use of renewable energy, reimbursement of stamp duty and land conversion fee, support for private industrial parks, patent registration, and quality certification.

 

Under the new Industrial Package 2025, free land will be allotted to promote investment. Industrial units with an investment of more than 100 crore rupees and generating more than 1,000 direct jobs will be allotted up to 10 acres of land free of cost. Industrial units with an investment of more than 1,000 crore rupees will be allotted up to 25 acres of land free of cost. Companies listed in the Fortune 500 category will be allotted up to 10 acres of land free of cost.

 

To avail the benefits under the Industrial Promotion Package 2025, investors will be required to apply before March 31, 2026. This new industrial package is expected to help provide jobs and employment to 1 crore youth in the next five years. The objective of this initiative is to further boost industries in Bihar, make the youth skilled and self-reliant, and ensure they do not have to migrate outside the state in search of employment. This package is considered very important for developing and accelerating the industrial environment in Bihar.

 

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on social media that this Industrial Investment Promotion Package will help industries in the state grow rapidly.
