Bihar Museum Biennale 2025 to begin in Patna on August 7

In Bihar, the world-famous third edition of much much-awaited Bihar Museum Biennale 2025 will be organised in Patna from 7th August.

 

Director General of Bihar Museum Anjani Kumar Singh informed the Akashvani News that the Biennale 2025 will be focused on “Global South: Sharing Histories,” which will provide an opportunity to delve deep into the culture, heritage and society of Latin American, African and Asian countries.

 

Mr. Singh said artists, experts and connoisseurs of countries like Ethiopia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Mexico, Argentina, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and other nations will participate in the range of programmes like seminars, exhibitions and cultural programmes.

 

Mr. Singh said a special segment has been reserved in the biennale for Patna Kalam (पटना कलम) painting art to revive this dying special skill.

 

The Bihar Museum Biennale is a mega event of the Patna-based Bihar Museum in which museums across the world discuss their issues, topics and ways of augmentation on the interval of every two years.

 

The Bihar Museum Biennale 2025 will continue till 31st December.
