The election campaigning for the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections has peaked. Today, apart from the NDA and the Mahagathbandhan, leaders of other contesting parties also addressed several election rallies. Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Aurangabad and Bhabhua in support of NDA candidates.
Addressing a rally in Aurangabad, Mr. Modi said that NDA will make Bihar developed. He said the Bihar has faith in NDA’s honest manifesto. He alleged that Congress and RJD only practice politics of abuses and slander.
Addressing another rally in Bhabua, the Prime Minister alleged that RJD-Congress tried hard to mislead the youth of Bihar, but all their plans failed.
Another senior party leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that a ministry will be established to make Bihar flood-free, if NDA voted to power.
Addressing a public meeting in Bihpur in Bhagalpur, Mr. Shah said that the NDA has a comprehensive plan for Bihar’s development. He said that defence manufacturing units will be set up in the state, and ordnance factories will be established in Bhagalpur and several other places.
BJP President JP Nadda also addressed an election rally in Govindganj. He said, this election is about giving further momentum to development and providing stability and strength to the government.
Senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also addressed several rallies in East and West Champaran districts in support of NDA candidates.
On the other hand, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, addressing a rally in Chenari, Rohtas, alleged that Nitish Kumar has ruled the state for 20 years but people still lack employment opportunities. He alleged that people of Bihar are forced to migrate to other states in search of work.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a public rally in Amarpur. He said that this election is about the future of Bihar. Mr. Gandhi urged voters to choose a government that works for them and stands with them in times of need. Addresing another rally in Bhagalpur, he alleged that the GST was imposed to destroy farmers, labourers, small businessmen, and employees. In a rally in Banka, the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said, the Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar will represent the voice of every citizen.
Mahagathbandhan Chief Ministerial face Tejashwi Prasad Yadav addressed election rallies in Purnea, Araria, Bhagalpur, and Banka. He said that NDA leaders are trying to divert people’s attention from the real issue of employment. Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav also addressed a public meeting in Nokha in Rohtas.
