Union Textiles Secretary Neelam Shami Rao today said that the Bharat Tex 2025 will reaffirm the attractiveness of India as a reliable, sustainable sourcing destination as well as an investment destination at scale for textiles. Addressing the media in New Delhi, Secretary Rao said that the entire event is a testament to India’s commitment to becoming a global textile powerhouse. She added that a large number of buyers have shown interest, with 126 countries being represented by buyers this year.

During the event, the Secretary launched the Bharat Tex 2025 app and website. The Bharat Tex app is a part of the overall technology platform designed to facilitate seamless engagement, networking, and information dissemination for this largest global textile event. The app allows users to explore the latest developments and technological advancements in the entire textile value chain, including fibres, apparel & fashions, home textiles, handlooms, and intelligent manufacturing. It also provides easy access to venue maps, session details, and more.

Bharat Tex is a global textiles event scheduled to be held from February 14 to 17 in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The co-located event will simultaneously be held from February 12 to 15 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
