The tenures of the nominated Members, Directors and Chairpersons of the non-statutory boards, organisations, bodies and public sector undertakings of the State government of West Bengal have been terminated today with immediate effect. The services of the officials who are engaged by the government of West Bengal after their superannuation have also been terminated today. The Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari, today chaired the first cabinet meeting. A range of meetings were held with secretaries of various departments and District Magistrates and Superintendents of police today.
