Bahrain Arrests 41 Over Alleged IRGC Links

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry announced the arrest of 41 people allegedly linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC. In a statement on Saturday, Bahrin’s Interior Ministry said, authorities uncovered a network connected to the IRGC, while investigations by the public prosecutor also examined cases involving alleged sympathy for Iranian attacks. Authorities said, investigations are ongoing and legal action will be taken against anyone found involved in the group’s activities or other unlawful acts. The arrests come amid rising regional tensions following the conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran that began on February 28. Bahrain was among the Gulf states targeted by Iranian attacks, alongside other countries hosting U.S. military bases.
