Ayush Ministry today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Ayush Export Promotion Council (AYUSHEXCIL) and a quick commerce company in New Delhi to facilitate structured online access to Ayush medicines and wellness products across the country. Addressing the occasion through a video message, Ayush Minister Prataprao Jadhav stated that innovation-driven Indian startups are playing a critical role in improving last-mile access to trusted wellness products.
The Minister further noted that this collaboration aligns with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to integrate the country’s traditional knowledge systems with modern digital infrastructure.
During the event, chairman of AYUSHEXCIL, Anurag Sharma, said that this collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating the traditional Indian healthcare system with the modern quick commerce system. He added that this partnership will strengthen the AYUSH sector’s digital reach, consumer trust and market access.
The features of the MoU include promotion of AYUSH quality mark compliance, identification of eligible AYUSH manufacturers by AYUSHEXCIL among MSMEs and collaboration on credible educational content about AYUSH systems. Speaking on the occasion, Secretary of AYUSH Ministry Vaidya Rajesh Koetcha said that this MoU will support the Ministry’s vision of positioning AYUSH as a global health and wellness system.
