इससे पहले, सैन्य संचालन महानिदेशक लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल राजीव घई ने कल कहा कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के तहत पाकिस्तान और उसके कब्जे वाले जम्मू-कश्मीर में नौ आतंकी ठिकानों पर हुए हमले में सौ से अधिक आतंकवादी मारे गए हैं। जो कंधार विमान अपहरण और पुलवामा विस्फोट में शामिल थे। कल नई दिल्ली में उन्होंने कहा कि ऑपरेशन सिंदूर की संकल्पना आतंकियों, उन्हें संरक्षण देने वालों और आतंकी ढांचे को नष्ट करने के उद्देश्य से की गई है।
Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi has granted full authority to the Army commanders for counteraction in case of any violation by Pakistan.
On being asked about how many Pakistani planes were downed, Director General of Air Operations, Air Marshal AK Bharti said their planes were prevented from entering inside the border and a few planes were definitely downed.

DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that Pakistan Army has reported to have lost nearly 35 to 40 personnel in artillery and small arms firing on the Line of Control between 7th and 10th May.
Director General Naval Operations Vice Admiral A N Pramod said that our forces remained forward deployed in the Northern Arabian Sea in a decisive and deterrent posture with full readiness and capacity to strike select targets at sea and on land, including Karachi, at a time of choosing. He added that the Indian Navy remains deployed at sea in a credible deterrent posture to respond decisively to any inimical action by Pakistan.

An earthquake of magnitude of 5.7 on the Richter Scale hit Tibet today at 2:41 AM, Indian Time. The tremors were felt across the region. However, there are no reports of damage or injuries as of now. A special Dhamma Yatra led by Buddhist monks has started from the 80-foot statue of Lord Buddha, which is passing through various parts of Bodhgaya; it will culminate at the Mahabodhi Temple. On this occasion, special prayers are being offered under the holy Mahabodhi tree. Besides Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, a large number of devotees are attending the special prayers. Thousands of devotees have gathered in the hill town of Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka to join in the Vesak festival celebrations. Temples, streets, and homes have been adorned with colourful lanterns and pandals depicting scenes from the Buddha’s life.
Sri Lanka’s President Anura Kumara Dissanayake inaugurated the week-long Vesak festival on Saturday marking the Buddhist Year 2569. As part of the celebrations, a commemorative stamp was issued and ‘Sri Sannas Patras’ were awarded to recognise historic religious sites. The government has declared May 10th to 16th as State Vesak week. Siddique a founder of the start up said that it was created after traveling across the country .The software platform enables highly personalised learning using student assessments and data analytics. Unlike many start ups that rely on publicly available AI models this start up has developed a proprietary small language model trained on extensive curated datasets including study material, lesson plans and question sets in both video and text formats. Their software evaluates candidates across metrics, including personality traits, cognitive strengths and subject knowledge to design individualised lesson plans, daily study and learning parameters.

This cutting edge technology allows land owners to receive accurate digital maps with coordinates down to a few centimetres offering a major leap in transparency and convenience. Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries H D Kumaraswamy has thanked the Government of India for the safe return of 13 Karnataka students studying at Sher e Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology in Srinagar. The students travelled from Srinagar to Jammu by bus and then onwards to Delhi by train, with close monitoring by Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy. The officials from the Ministry of Steel and Heavy Industries received the students at Delhi railway station. H D Kumaraswamy praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his inspiring and reassuring leadership. The minister informed that the Prime Minister’s clear instructions and deep personal commitment towards public welfare, enabled swift coordination between departments to evacuate the students from danger zones near the Pakistan border.

Students and other citizens of Telangana living in border states are reaching Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi in large numbers in view of the prevailing situation in those states. Officials at Telangana Bhavan made arrangements to enable these people to reach their respective destinations. Telangana’s Resident Commissioner Gaurav Uppal informed that another 100 people are expected to reach Telangana Bhavan. Officials were making all arrangements for them. The Resident Commissioner personally supervised the arrangements for their stay and transport.
Earlier, the state government announced that it had set up a control room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to provide total assistance to all citizens belonging to the state. Several students from universities in Jammu, Punjab and other northern states reached Telangana Bhavan and were given all the help to stay and finally travel to Hyderabad safely.

ये पंक्तियां हैं कवि शमशेर बहादुर सिंह की। शमशेर बहादुर सिंह यानी प्रगतिवाद के पहली पंक्ति के कवि। आज उनकी पुण्यतिथि है। . उनका जन्म 13 जनवरी 1911 को देहरादून में हुआ था। वे हिंदी के साथ-साथ उर्दू और अंग्रेज़ी के भी विद्वान थे। उनकी कविताओं की सबसे बड़ी विशेषता शिल्प संरचना है। यानी जो शब्दों के माध्यम से चित्र रचना करती हैं। इसका कारण चित्रकला के प्रति उनका लगाव था। उनकी मुख्य कृतियों में कुछ कविताएं, चुका भी हूं मैं नहीं, इतने पास अपने, काल तुझसे होड़ है मेरी शामिल हैं। 1977 में ‘चुका भी हूं मैं नहीं ‘ के लिए उन्हें प्रतिष्ठित साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया था। सहजता अगर इंसान का गुण है तो शमशेर बहादुर सिंह जीवन इसका एक उदाहरण है, न औपचारिकता न पाखंड...जैसा जीवन, वैसा लेखन

जाने-माने निर्माता- निर्देशक विजय भट्ट की आज जयंती है। उन्होंने राम राज्य, बैजू बावरा, गूंज उठी शहनाई , हिमालाय की गोद जैसी फिल्मों का निर्देशन किया। उन्होंने प्रोडक्शन कंपनी प्रकाश पिक्चर्स और प्रकाश स्टूडियो की स्थापना की। वे Film and Television Producers Guild of India के संस्थापक सदस्य भी थे। विजय भट्ट ने राम राज्य, भरत मिलाप,बैजू बावरा और गूंज उठी शहनाई जैसी कई यादगार फिल्में बनाईं। उन्होंने शुरूआत में फिल्में लिखीं और प्रोड्यूज भी कीं।निर्देशकर रूप में उनकी पहली फिल्म थी ड्रीमलैंड जो 1936 में आई थी और हॉलीवुड फिल्म इन्विजि़बल मैन से प्रेरितथी। उनकी फिल्म राम राज्य काफी हिट हुई थी और स्वयं महाम्मा गांधी ने भी इसे देखा था।बापू ने इसके सिर्फ 40 मिनट तक के अंश देखने थे लेकिन वे इसके देखते हुए इतने प्रभावित हुए कि उन्होंने 90 मिनट तक देखी।
विजय भट्ट को श्रेय जाता है कि हिंदी फिल्मों में उन्होंने शास्त्रीय संगीत की शुरूआत की। उनकी फिल्मों में महान शास्त्रीय कलाकारों ने कई बार एकसाथ अपनी गायिकी या वादन का फन बिखेरा। जैसे बैजू बावरा में उस्ताद अमीर खां और पंडित डी वी पलुस्कर ने आज गावत मन मोरा गीत गाया था। फिल्म गूंज उठी शहनाई में मशूहर शहनाई वादक उस्ताद बिस्मिल्लाह खां और सितार वादक उस्ताद अब्दुल हलीम जाफर खां की जुगलबंदी देखने को मिली थी।विजय भट्ट को 1954 में तत्कालीन सोविय संघ सरकार ने रूस में पहले भारतीय फिल्म समारोह के लिए आमत्रित किया था जिसमें बैजू बावरा आधिकारिक प्रेवश मिला था। बैजू बावरा तो musically hit मूवी थी और उसके गीत आज कणप्रिय हैं
And education Vijay Jagneshwar Bhatt was born on 12 May 1907, into the household of Benkunwar Bhatt and Jagneshwar Bhatt, who was a railway guard at Palitana, Bhavnagar district, Gujarat. He moved to Bombay in his twenties, along with his elder brother, Shankarbhai Bhatt, who took up a job, and went on to become a producer; Vijay enrolled in St. Xavier's College, and completed Intermediate from the Science stream, and later received a diploma in 'Electrical Lighting and Traction' through a correspondence course from London. After completing his education with an electrician's diploma, Bhatt started his career at Bombay Electric Supply & Tramways Company Limited (BEST), where he worked till he became the Drawing Office Superintendent. Although he had already written a few scripts for Gujarati theatre, a meeting with Ardeshir Irani was the turning point in his career.
