In Maharashtra, the Anti-Narcotics Cell carried out raids in Malad, Jogeshwari, Dadar, and Navi Mumbai, resulting in the seizure of 4.034 kg of Mephedrone (MD) valued at approximately 10.07 crore rupees. Five individuals, including two foreign nationals, were arrested during the raids. Investigations indicate that the accused were involved in the distribution of Mephedrone across various parts of Mumbai. Four FIRs have been registered so far, and further investigation is underway under provisions of the NDPS Act.
