The annual Urs of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti has formally begun in Ajmer. Pilgrims from across the country and abroad are arriving to participate in the 813th Urs. Union Minister Chirag Paswan today offered a chaadar at the Mazar Sharif. On behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will offer a chaadar on Saturday.

Mr. Rijiju will also launch the web portal of the dargah and the Garib Nawaz app on the same day. In view of the large number of people arriving for the Urs, the district administration and police have made tight security arrangements. Special arrangements have also been made for the convenience of the devotees.
