Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi, along with Delhi Chief Minister  Rekha Gupta, today inaugurated the 502 Palna-Anganwadi cum Creche Care Centres in New Delhi.

These centres have been constructed under the Seva Pakhwada initiative. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that working women will benefit from this initiative and will provide a safe, nurturing space for children.

She added that these centres will also provide nutrition and education services to children. She also said that the government is committed to the health and well-being of women across the country.
