The Andhra Pradesh State government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading company Creativeland Asia Private Limited to develop the first “Transmedia Entertainment City” in the state.
Representatives of both parties signed this agreement in Amaravati on May 1, 2025. The WAVES Summit 2025 conceptualised by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, gave impetus to this collaboration.
Through this project, Andhra Pradesh will become a hub for creative economy, tourism, skill development, job creation and digital innovation.
The city, which will be called “Creator Land”, will be home to cutting-edge facilities for cinema, gaming, advertising, virtual production and technology-based storytelling.
The key features of this project are – State-of-the-art Virtual Studio Complex: A studio set-up with world-class AI-based real-time rendering technology and volumetric capture systems; Immersive Entertainment Zones: Theme parks with AR, VR, MR experiences, dedicated gaming zones and e-sports arenas; Global Cinema Co-Production Hub: A platform for international film and digital content collaboration; Creator Land Academy: Specialized training for youth in areas such as VFX, AI, gaming, animation and virtual production; and Investment Attraction: Partnership with global studios, gaming companies and investors. The foundation stone of this project will be laid in the next 24 months.
