The Andhra Pradesh government has officially renamed Raj Bhavan as Lok Bhavan following the approval of Governor S. Abdul Nazeer. The decision was made based on a communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India.
A notification confirming the change was issued today by G. Anantha Ramu, Special Chief Secretary to the Governor. With this, the Governor’s official residence in the state will henceforth be known as Lok Bhavan, Andhra Pradesh.
