President Droupadi Murmu today attended the opening of the Amrit Udyan Winter Annual Edition 2026 in New Delhi. The President’s Secretariat, in a statement said that the Amrit Udyan of Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain open for public from 3rd of this month till 31st March. Citizens can visit the Udyan six days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Udyan will remain closed on Mondays, for maintenance and on March 4 on account of Holi. The President’s Secretariat informed that the Udyan will be open for special categories including for Defence Personnel on March 3, Senior Citizens on March 5, Women and Tribal Women SHGs on March 10 and Divyangjan on March 13.
Entry to the garden is free and will be available in online mode only. The visitors can book tickets through visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. This year, the visitors will be able to see Babbling Brook – a water stream with cascades and Banyan Garden with reflexology paths apart from tulips and different types of roses. The visitors can also witness the Change-of-Guard Ceremony every Saturday at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
