At least 208 victims of the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad have so far been identified through DNA matching, and 173 bodies have been handed over to their families. Medical Superintendent of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, Dr Rakesh Joshi, told the media. Authorities are matching DNA samples to establish the identity of the victims, as many bodies were charred beyond recognition or damaged.
