Administrative building, darshan queue pavilion inaugurated at Trimbakeshwar under PRASAD Scheme

Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat today inaugurated the administrative building and darshan queue pavilion constructed under the Ministry of Tourism’s PRASAD scheme at Nivrutti Maharaj Ashram in Trimbakeshwar in Maharashtra’s Nashik district.

Referring to the upcoming Kumbh Mela, the Union Minister said, large-scale development works are underway in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, and all projects will be completed at the earliest. He expressed confidence that these initiatives will transform the landscape of Nashik and Trimbakeshwar and provide better facilities for devotees and tourists.

Mr. Shekhawat added that the development works will not be limited to beautification alone but will focus on essential infrastructure such as roads, drinking water, sanitation and traffic management. With lakhs of devotees visiting during the Kumbh Mela, strengthening basic amenities is a key objective of both the central and state governments.

The programme is expected to boost religious and tourism development in Trimbakeshwar and ensure more convenient and safer darshan facilities for devotees. State Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, former MP Hemant Godse, local public representatives, administrative officials, saints and a large number of devotees were present at the inauguration ceremony.
