10 Naxalites Surrender in Madhya Pradesh, Including ₹77-Lakh Bounty Commander

Madhya Pradesh has achieved a major success in its efforts to eliminate Naxalism. In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, 10 Naxalites surrendered in Balaghat district under the “Rehabilitation to Renewal” programme. 
They  include the Rs 77-lakh bounty commander Surendar alias Kabir. 
This surrender highlights the effectiveness of the state government’s Naxal rehabilitation policy.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government’s objective is the complete eradication of Naxalism and to make Madhya Pradesh free from Naxal violence. He stated that through the rehabilitation policy, a pathway has been created to bring misguided individuals into the mainstream, provide them with a life of dignity, and help them reintegrate into society.
