In Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, around 10 houses were engulfed in a land subsidence incident in Tandabari village of Baghmara block last night, and four people were injured. District administration and BCCL officials reached the spot and have started relief operations.

Local residents said that this is the third land subsidence incident in Tandabari village. The affected residents blamed coal mining for the incident and demanded proper rehabilitation at a safer location. The administration said that around 21 affected families will be shifted to safer places, and necessary steps are being taken.
